    My tractor won't start!

Well. I think I did. Yesterday the tractor started right up in the morning and after mowing I shut it down to fuel up and it wouldn't restart. Everything was dead. I did a load test on the battery and it was toast. Put it a new one and I'm back up and running.

    2002 Dk45

The older DK's are mechanical. Is your tachometer working? If not it may be a broken cable.

    Price on backhoe attachment

The prices of backhoes sure have gone up since I got mine 9 or 10 years ago. I got my Rhino 85 with subframe and 18" bucket for $5200. (still on the crate, I assembled the subframe and hose kit and installed the hoe) It has an 8 1/2' digging depth and 11' reach. Today backhoes seem to be going...

    Transmission fluid recommendatons

You have wet brakes so use a heavy duty tractor transmission/hydraulic fluid. If it says on the jug/bucket the oil meets or exceeds Kubota UDT specifications, it will work fine.

    30 or 35 series?

I agree with the others. 43 PTO HP should handle a 7' cutter. I run a 6' brush mower on my 28 PTO HP tractor with no problem.

    Battery life

I generally get 7 to 10 years out of a battery. My last pickup battery lasted 10 years. Our car is 7 years old and my Kioti tractor is 9 years old. Both are still running the original batteries. I'm hoping to get a few more years out of them.

kioti dk 35 stuck in 4 wheel drive

Try spraying penetrating oil on the 4 wd shift linkage where the shaft goes into the transmission housing. I've read posts in the past where other Kioti owners were having the same issue and it was the shaft getting corrosion on it where it enters the transmission housing. Spraying it with...

what pressure do you run in your loaded tires?

I run 45 PSI in my front tires (R-4's unloaded) so I don't peal a tire off during loader work. My loaded rear R-4's I'm running around 12-14 PSI.
