    Take your time...

Yup that sounds a lot scarier then my situation for sure, but I have seen what kind of terrain you have too, so even with another tractor I doubt I would have attempted it myself in your case. Sounds like it turned out great though espectally with the beer and the good laughs, it sure gives one...

    Take your time...

Dang glad it turned out OK for ya. I know all about the pics not doing a close call like that justice, so I can only imagine how bad it really was. I got in a similiar situation by my pond a few years ago, and had to hurry and get my other tractor hooked up to it to keep it from going over...

Looking for info on a log splitter

Gotcha squerly, makes sense. Them homebuilt ones can definatly be more suited when they are built right. :tiphat: I'm just the opposite though, having two tractors I need to maintain anyway, having a seperate log splitter to keep running as well. I suck at keeping small gas equipment running...

Looking for info on a log splitter

I dont have one yet squerly, but have been looking for one for some time for use with my tractor. My farmer neighbor bought one of these and is very happy with it, its not a hog but does the job for most of the trees we have in our area. He built his own attachment for the 4 way split which I...

    RTV Comes Through Again

Great pics bordercollie . As far as dealing with the cold as far as gloves go , I have tried just about every kind of glove I could find & nothing would keep my hands warm much less dry while using the tractor moving snow . This Christmas my wife got me 2 pairs of ski gloves & my days of having...

    homemade Deltahook type quick hitch

Yep your right myyaz , I had to look at it in the shop up close . Basiclly I just need to cut the two taps off & make new ones that are a little bit longer for more clearence between the pin & the front frame , then reweld those on the inside of the 3 point support bars . I have to dig through...

    homemade Deltahook type quick hitch

After posting the pic I dont think its worth the trouble . On the disc I put the pins to the outside but the mounting tabs are still a bit to wide & the pins are to close to the front bar . I just dont see no way to make it work without weakening the heck out of it & that disc is one heavy son...

    homemade Deltahook type quick hitch

Good pics myyaz33 , thanks for taking the time to explain as well . I'll have to see if that will work for my kk boxblade I think its very similiar to your yard tool . I cant remember why it wouldn't hook up to my disc or finish mower though . but I'm begining to think the quick hitch wasn't...
