The hose was not installed correctly at the factory. That is what caused it to fail.</P>

Here is a picture of where it failed. This was the line going to the engine from the remote oil filter. This happened on a Sat.afternoon and I wanted to use it on Sunday so I just purchased a hose from a local hydraulic hose shop. My dealer did not have the part in stock so I would have to wait...

I had my oil line on my 1100start leaking on me. I ended up replacing it with a 45.00 hydraulic hose from NAPA. I posted some pics of this on TBN
