    Blizzard plow

We purchased a new 1100 in early February for our church and just put a Blizzard 720 on it. We had enough snow to test it out once, but we're ready for next year.</p> We were also concerned with weight. When we finally got it hooked up and lifted the plow, all our concerns vanished. The front...

    RTV 900 VS RTV1100

We have a new 1100 and I can't say enough about the cab. Quality is superb and refined. No complaints to register here. On the price, check around. We paid $15,085 for the camo, with the high rise air intake and the engine heater. Granted, our dealer gave us the camo option at no cost because...

    1100 High Air Intake

Hey guys, I haven't put enough hours on the 1100 to offer much help. I'll just say that everything seems normal with the engine: power, acceleration, etc. Can't hear any air going through the filter. How 'bout it Two guns, are you gettin' an 1100? Matt

    coast valve

I agree with Two guns. If people are using the machine infrequently enough so as not to get used to it, it's the way to go. I was completely comfortable with it the first day, but I knew what to expect and I am very conscientious about the operating characteristics of any vehicle I drive. Not...

Want to take the doors off your 1100?

There could be many reasons. If you were working a certain job that required you to jump in and out of the cab a lot, removing the driver door might be an advantage. On many summer days up here in northern NY there is no need for air cond., it is actually nice to have an open cab. Also, if you...

Want to take the doors off your 1100?

Keifer, When you make the leap you're gonna love it. It's quite a vehicle. I'm glad the forum is helping you. I know I have reaped quite a bit of knowledge here. A lot of friendly and helpful folks. Matt

    new accessories

Rusty Anvil, It's looks like the camera you ordered has a rechargeable lithium ion battery and charger included. This is a proprietary battery that fits your camera and should give you very good battery life. You should not need to order batteries or a charger. The most you would need is an...

    driving in snow.

So, in powder you're ok up to two feet if you are going in a relatively straight line, is that right. How does it do in wetter, packy snow? Thanks for the sharing the pics. You have a great looking machine and property. Matt

    driving in snow.

Sounds great! I can see how they would extend the use of your machine greatly, especially in these northern parts where deep snow can remain in the woods 'til Spring. Like to see them in action some time. I'm sure there are some videos out there. Matt

    driving in snow.

Deerlope, That sure is a nice looking machine. How much snow can it handle? I know powder vs. heavy wet stuff makes a difference. Just wondering what they are capable of. Matt

RTV 1100 in it's natural habitat

We ordered it as an option with the RTV1100. Your Kubota dealer should be able to get you one. Matt

Here's the upper mount, attached to the door itself.

Want to take the doors off your 1100?

The gas cylinder mounts to the door itself and of course to the door frame. Here's a shot of the mount on the door frame. If you remove this the cylinder will come off with the door. I haven't done this yet, as I have no need to now. But my biggest concern would be to carefully store the door...

Want to take the doors off your 1100?

For those wanting to or wondering about taking the doors off an 1100, I took a few shots. Looks simple. First, the lower hinge is the only one with a snap ring to hold it in. Pop that off and the door should lift right off...after you detach the inside gas cylinder that holds the door open...
