RTV running hot? New ISSPRO gauge installed tells the truth!

Yea, I forgot about the fogging, this one does not fog up. I have a couple if ISSPRO gauges. The white one is called a marine gauge, and the wires from the sending unit seem quite a bit heavier than the black faced gauge. I bought that one on ebay new for fifty bucks. The one in my truck I got...

RTV running hot? New ISSPRO gauge installed tells the truth!

My RTV with a hundred hours reads around 3/4 to 7/8 of full scale all the time. I pulled the old gaugeout and installed an ISSPRO gauge. Reads 180-190 all the time now.... No more guessing what the factory gauge really means... The sending unit for the ISSPRO gauge fit right in the same threaded...

Coast Valve removed from RTV today and OEM one adjusted and put back in

OK, I bought the coast valve like many others and installed it in my RTV-900. No longer was I smashing my dogs nose on the hood of the RTV if I took my foot off the gas quickly.
Today, after hearing we could adjust the stock valve, I looked at my stock valve and decided to adjust it and...

Coast Valve installed on RTV-900 today

So I have a coast valve now, and it is way better than the OEM valve... Now the dog does not fly out the front if my wife takes the foot off the gas too fast... What if I open the sotck valve one or 1.5 turns? Will I still have some braking? That would be nice. I mean my John Deere tractor is...

Coast Valve installed on RTV-900 today

Hi Brian: Yes, that makes sense for your use. I had no problems with the braking, but when I let other folks drive it, the dog and I went flying when they took their foot off the loud peddle. LOL. The OEM valve has a screw adjust in it, has anyone adjusted that to see what it does?
But, I...

Coast Valve installed on RTV-900 today

The coast valve almost entirely eliminates engine braking. But, the brakes on the RTV work fine, you just need to use them now. We put the coast valve in, and it drives WAY better. It still is hard shifting though if you stop on a hill and need to shift. You need to pull the pressure relief...

Coast Valve installed on RTV-900 today

Not sure about the warrentee, I'll put the OEM one back in if that is an issue, it only takes ten minuts to do. Hardest part for me was figuring out where the 10 mm allen plug was, that was vague or I was blind.
Wayne

Coast Valve installed on RTV-900 today

After a lot of thinking and hesitating I broke down and bought the coast valve for my RTV-900. It is a new machine, and now it drives and shifts the way it should have out of the factory. My RTV is less than two months old, but the "pressure relief" valve I had to pull to release the pressure is...

    RTV 1100 OVERHEATING

Here is what my temp gauge reads, the low is after the fan turns on, and the high of course is right before it turns on.
Wayne

    RTV 1100 OVERHEATING

Two Guns: First, good to see you back on the air, glad you all made out ok. Second, thanks. That is about what mine does, hovers around 3/4 most of the time. I am sleeping well at night, especially since I put my temp probe on it and saw it around 175. Heck, on my 48 B I don't open the shuttters...

    RTV 1100 OVERHEATING

I wonder how you know it is overheating? We have a new RTV-900, and the temp gauge goes up almost to 1/4" below the red, and then the fan comes on. I brought it to my dealer to look at, and he changed the thermostat, and the gauge sensor, and when I got it back he left the gauge unplugged...

New RTV won't pull a log??

    Thanks to everyone who answered!
The machine drives great for sure, especially compared to my 3010 Mule. The power stearing is awesome.
I tried again today to do some pulling, and in the woods I hooked up to a tree to see if I could spin the wheels. I could break traction in 2WD...

New RTV won't pull a log??

    Jerry:
Yes, thanks so much, That is what I thought, my guess is tranny pressure is not building high enough. I can stall out my HST tractor (bad bad bad...) but this does not even come close. Today I tried to climb a 30 degree slope in high and it would not do it. Back to the dealer this...

New RTV with rear seat and console

Awesome, I like that! Say, you may have seen my earlier post, does yours actually go 25 mph in third gear? I can'ge get much more than 18 or so.
Wayne

New RTV won't pull a log??

Bordercollie: Thanks for the reply! Yes, I was in first gear. I suspect the hydrostatic transmission is not engaging all the way? In third gear, level ground, it barely goes 18 MPH. It's almost like the hydro is not engaging enough, cause the engine does not even bog down. It's only got 4 hours...

New RTV won't pull a log??

Hi: We just traded in our Kawasaki mule for a RTV-900 yesterday. It drives great, and the power stearing is awesome.
Today I had to move a log that was in one of my paths, so I put a chain on mayne a 16 foot poplar log that was 14 inches in diameter. My mule would have pulled it, or at...
