    ok so I replaced the gas tank that I determined was very rusty. Got fuel flow to and out the carb - I also bought a new sediment bowl - now my problem is that the gas will flow from the tank into the bowl as long as I do not tighten down the bowl - as soon as I tighten it the gas stops...

    Ok back to the drawing board! Replaced the gas cap and put a new coil on. Tractor ran 15-20 minutes again and quit. If I wait an hour or so then it will start up and run for awhile and quit. any other ideas?

    yes - the coil drops down into a hole - plus the shape of the gasket and housing allow it to only fit one way. Very strange in that the old coil fit fine before I removed it.     I have a restored 8N - starts and runs fine for around 15-20 minutes and then just dies. Then will not restart. If I wait 30-60 minutes then it will restart and run a little while - any ideas?

    have a 2015 1100 - cannot shift it into low. I can get it into high and reverse but it takes some effort - any ideas on cause?
