TYM 723 hydraulics heat up using remote float

Cylinder seems to float in this position. I went and attached a open hose on each port and started the tractor with it in float with no oil coming out. I may be chasing my tail with this. Need to set up a gauge to watch the temps. Engine stayed normal, just the hydraulic seemed hot.

TYM 723 hydraulics heat up using remote float

I am using the float position on my remote when using a drum mower. The hydraulics heat up to the point that engaging gears is delayed. I have 700 hours on the tractor. My understanding of the valve is that the fluid should flow through the body the same as when in the neutral position so the...

    No start problem 1100c

Problem Found. I made up a adapter for the compression tester out of a 8x1.0 mm bolt that I drilled through the middle and welded a pipe adapter to it that fit one in the set. Tested the cylinders and found 325psi on #1, 425psi on #2, and 325psi on #3. Pulled the injector pump out expecting a...

    No start problem 1100c

Helping out a friend with his RTV. He shut it off one day and it hasn't started since. He had someone else look at before me. From what he said the fellow removed the injectors and looked them over, replaced the fuel filter, had him put an electric fuel pump bypassing the lift pump, and had him...

    Massey Ferguson 1100 vent question

I have a 1100 and can't seem to keep water out of the hydraulics. Is there a case vent for the transmission or rear axle housing? I can't seem to find one. Thanks for any help.

    Massey 65 auxiliary hydraulic question

The operator manual refers to "external auxiliary hydraulic control valve" supplement or manual that was packages with the manual. Does anyone have a source for this? I seem to have all but this one. Thanks

    Hesston gate cylinder repair

I had a gate cylinder leaking badly on my Hesston 5530. I purchased a pair of rebuild packing kits a while back but didn't understand at the time why it included a square rod in the kit. No instructions were included and no mention in the owners manual. Looking at the cylinder I wasn't sure as...

    A/C compressor RTV1100

With the corrosion of the compressor I would think that in this case the machine may have been used for snow removal and spreading salt. The compressor is an industry standard and not kubota. But not to beat a dead horse, I feel that the use of powder coatings and the newer paints are causing a...

    A/C compressor RTV1100

I had purchased two 1100's in which both had the compressors set up, pulley would not turn. There was no way I was going to pay what the dealer wanted for a compressor so I purchased a 11287C Universal Air Conditioner and a UAC RD10017C A/C Receiver Drier from ebay for a little less than $200...

    Frame gap question

Thanks for the replies. I would have thought that there would have been more suspension travel on these but it doesn't sound like it. Now I know that it is not to worry about.

    Frame gap question

Sorry if the question wasn't clear. Yes I am asking how much rear suspension travel others normally have on their RTV-1100cw before bottoming out the frame on the "rubber spring stopper", as Kubota calls it. I had thought that the space between the stopper and frame would make a good reference...

    Frame gap question

On a 1100cw, what size gap do you have between the rubber stopper and the frame, unloaded? Mine has about an inch, I would think that there should be more of a gap. I would like to know what you have before I start taking things apart.

    RTV1100 radio questions

I bought the mounting plate and installed it with the radio. I don't think that it is of much use unless you have a really heavy radio to install. Most radios you get now are very light.

    RTV1100 floor replacement

No plasma cutter, sure would have been nice to have though. All my cuts were with a angle grinder with a cut off blade. Bends were made by scoring with the grinder and then bending.

    RTV1100 floor replacement

wheel well fab. Looks like Frankenstein worked on it. At least I won't be playing Fred Flintstone while driving around now. Will need to do the same thing to my second one later this year, for now I have had enough.

Headlight reflection from grill guard RTV1100cw

I painted the guard matt black and it makes a difference for me. Took a set of photos before and after. The headlights are dimmer because the engine was off in the first photo and on in the second.

Headlight reflection from grill guard RTV1100cw

Driving around this evening I realized that I have a lot of light reflecting back to me from the silver grill guard. Has anyone been bothered by this? I don't have the roof lights hooked up yet. With the light reflecting back it distracts from seeing for me. I was thinking of painting the back...

    RTV1100 floor replacement

I bought a pair of these from a government auction from a collage in New Jersey. They both came with plows. Everything was beat up. The rust could be from salt used in the winter or even just the salt from being in NJ. I blame most of it on the powder coating. I have several Cub Cadet mowers and...

    RTV1100 floor replacement

I am replacing the rusted out floor of one of my 1100's and wanted to share the progress. Just to let everyone one know, I hate powder coating anything exposed to the element, give me Rust-Oleum any day. Once moisture gets under the coating it travels and rusts underneath and a lot of times it...
