I had rattles beside the tailgate, mine were part 030 and 040. 040 had wrong size bolt/nut that was cross thread

Tape works fine for me too, I found using rubber hose or too much tape and the tailgate would drop down.

That I could not tell you, I was not there but looked like a plastic bag of a few parts. The mech said mostly it was some adjustments. It helped a tiny bit but not a fix for sure...I bet your upgrade is far better

Kubota has a "upgrade" for the throttle issue, I had it installed on mine. Help a little but still is a issue.

The "jumpy throttle control" on mine was upgraded by the dealer..it helped a tiny bit but not much
