New Accelerator cable is too long. Old part number 7591 42110 discontinued, new part number ends in 12

Yep, we adjusted it down and then removed it. Still couldn't get enough travel to make it work. Put two large split shot on the cable between the U shaped bracket and the head of the cable. That shorted the cable enough that we could use the nuts on the engine side to adjust the throw until...

New to me RTVX-1100c No power on inclines

I just bought it, the throttle cable was replaced by the guy selling it. He took it to a kubota dealer to have it replaced. He said it was a 2018 but I suspect it's older, but in good shape. Tires look new but it had 1000 hours on it. Bed didn't have a ding in it, nothing more than casual...

New to me RTVX-1100c No power on inclines

I've been fighting this all week and discovered the NEW installed by a dealer, accelerator cable is too long. You can't adjust it to get the throttle to open all the way. So my question is, when you grab the throttle engine wire and pull it and watch the throttle hit the max, will it do the...

New Accelerator cable is too long. Old part number 7591 42110 discontinued, new part number ends in 12

So I thought I would update. Cable is too long, we put two large split shot on the cable under the pedal and got enough slop out of it that we could use the built in adjustments on the cable to get it perfect. Got the idle down and smoothed out and Step son helped me with the HST linkage, now...

New Accelerator cable is too long. Old part number 7591 42110 discontinued, new part number ends in 12

I saw that thread, but I don't think that's the primary problem. When you push the pedal all the way down, and it bottoms out, there is another half inch of travel (at least) left in the throttle. When you push down on the pedal, it goes down almost two inches BEFORE the cable starts to get...

New Accelerator cable is too long. Old part number 7591 42110 discontinued, new part number ends in 12

So I bought a used 1120D, runs great but it's very slow. The accelerator cable was replaced by a kubota dealer, but it barely moves the throttle. I played with it all day today and finally decide to buy a new one. That's when I discovered the Original part was discontinued and replaced. I...
