The other day I saw a RTV 900 sitting in a guys yard.. and it had a for sale sign on it. Of course I had to stop. Aftertalking with the owner I foundoutit's a 2005 model. One owner and he had kept it inside in a garage. He says It has 181 hours on it. Body wise it doesn't look bad. Bare bones machine with the exception of hydro dump bed. No top, extra lights or any other accessories except a snow blade. The snow blade looks like a cut down version of a King Kutter blade (for a small tractor). It manually angles left or right. The ownerhas made a mount on the front and uses the hydro from the dump bed to operate it up and down. It wasnt installed so I didn't get to see it working. The seat has a tear on one corner and the hyrdro tank in the back has broken from its mounts and the owner has a bungie cord holding it in place. It has the work site tires and stock black Kubota wheels. Oh, the bed has aluminum welded side racks om it- pretty nice. No bed liner. He is asking $8,500.00 but will take $8,000.00. Whille It's not the machine for me( ...I'm holding out for a RTV 1100), someone in the forum might have an interest in it or,.... an idea if the price is in line. This RTV 900 is located about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh. PA. I have the owners phone number if anyone is interested.

I would say that the price is too high.

Based on what I'm seeing on e-bay (sold RTV's), 05-06 models, many with accessories are selling for $7000-7700.

I'd 2nd that. When you can get a new one for under 11k with 0/42 financing you should be doing a little better than that. I guess it depends how much value you put on the homemade stuff.

Thanks for the feedback on the topic of the RTV 900 -- FOR SALE. Just seeing that Kubota Orange sitting out in the snow covered driveway drew me to itlike a magnet... or a moth to a candle.I haven't checked on Ebay for RTV'sbut his asking pricedid seem a biton the high side. Thanks again.

I also agree on it being priced high. I have an 05 and am aware that it still has some of the old bugs as well. I saw an 07 not long ago in the farm paper for a little over 8500 and it had low hrs and the extras such as roof, good grippers and lights. I would agree to hold out. After toothy's experience, I may decide to get a new RTV in a few years when my time doescome but that will have to be a good while. If I do have a major problem with mine soon.I will just walk a lot or get use to the old days of hopping up and down .. in and out of the old truck until the knees give out. Still love my RTV at 2392 hrs. Bordercollie
