When I removed trans drain plug there was what looked like a alinement pin stuck to the drain plug about 1/2 inch long 3/16 diamater, not danaged anybody, have any thoughts on this! Thanks

I don't know myself.
I'd start with a parts diagram and see if you can see your pin.
Start here. Pick the transmission sections and start looking for the pin.

Take a picture and post it. I'll bet it's a roller out of a bearing.
