2007 Rtv fuel tank

I have a 2007 rtv 1100. I noticed today one of the rubber pieces under the tank strap was coming out. I started looking and the sides and bottom were sucked in about 3". I removed the cap and there was whoosh. I have cleaned my cap before to be sure it was venting and I am getting a new fuel cap tomorrow. I used an airhose to put some pressure on the tank to try to get it back to its original shape. Helped a little. Engine never missed a lick. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

I've seen it numerous times on a tractor fuel tank. Cap stops venting and it sucks the tank sides in. Eventually the tank should regain it's shape.

Thanks for the reply Ohio. I would have never noticed it if I hadn't of had a flat tire right behind the fuel tank. I have been running it at night for the last two weeks and hadn't even been able to see it until today. Today had a Flat tire, a deformed fuel tank and I still love my rtv. I would rather have deformed plastic than be fighting the rusted metal tanks on some of my older tractors.
