Good Morning gents. I have a 2021 Massey 2860E (272 hours) that I bought new in 2021 as a divorce present to myself after I moved to my hobby farm in north central PA. I use it around my farm as a utility tractor and typically the hardest it runs is when I am running hay bales from the dairy farm 1.5 miles down the road. 1x or 2x a year I'll mow, rake and try to bale my 4-acre hay field. Last year while mowing, I was having issues with power loss, which turned out to be fuel filters. I ordered them from the local dealer and 2 weeks later figured out how to change them. I also got a new air filter at the same time (BIG bill). On Sunday I was mowing again and after 2 passes around the field, I started losing power. I went back to the barn and changed the fuel filters (bought 2 sets last year) and cleaned the air filter. Still had issues and ended up mowing in Turtle mode in 2nd to 3rd gear to keep the rpms up. Got the mowing done, but it took 2x as long and was very hot. I raked the field last night and was still having issues with power loss even just dragging a small 2 wheel rake. There were times when I was heading up a slight hill with the pedal to the floor and the rpms not coming up. At 5 years old, do I need an injector service or cleaning? Can the 90 degree temperatures be affecting it? That hasn't seemed to bother it in years past. After changing filters last year, I was able to resume mowing in 1st and 2nd gear in "rabbit". Only time I ever had to use turtle mode was when bailing with my mini round baler to keep my forward speed down.
