New here today, well cause new (used) Mahindra owner (and afraid I've got a lot to learn starting with.....)
Got what I felt was a good deal on a 2020 Mahindra 2638 today, got it home and realize the steering cylinder is leaking worse than I originally thought it was. Not a big deal I assumed surely it's rebuildable... but is it? I'm finding a few seal kits for other series of Mahindra tractors but nothing for 2638 or 2600 series yet. It looks like the end caps should come off by pulling the two long bolts that run from end to end, but maybe I'm thinking it should be simpler than it really is? Possible to to take the entire assembly to a hydraulic shop and let them measure for correct seals and replace them?
