A day in the life ...

I just had to relay the following to all current and future owners ( I include you because I know I read this forum for a long time before I could justify such a large expense to my family and myself).

I have a small hill farm in southern Ohio (mostly trees) where I live with my family. I raise some livestock and hunt on the property. I purchase a RTV 900 in April of this year and currently have about 85 hours on it. I found this forum a year ago and followed along with the posts, after a while I just had to take the step of ownership. The machine is all is cracked up to be, well built and strong. I am of the opinion that I don't need anything on the property that won't work, including my wife and daughter. I have most of the tools and equipment that I need and have said for some time that the best piece of equipment that I own is my Husqvarna weedeater. I am about to change my mind, after today's events.

First I hauled a piece of culvert out of the woods andplaced it at another creek crossing (could not have reached it without the RTV). Next I loaded ballast gravel andcovered the culvert (could only have done it with a wheelbarrow except for the RTV). Next I hauled cement and covered the gravel (again with the wheelbarrow except for the RTV). Then Imucked out the stalls and hauled that to the field (again with the wheelbarrow except for the RTV). I hosed out the bed and later at my daughter's birthday party she gave rides to about 20 kids. My nosy neighbor stopped her and said "Look's like your dad has got a new toy." I just smile!

Oh that crack about my wife and daughter not working, I don't have to worry, they will never see this forum!

Sounds like a great day.

Like you, mine will be used for many different things on the same day. For hauling kids, I have a piece of carpet I slide in the back then cover with a couple of those lawn furniture pads. It makes it so I don't have to get the bed very clean before having the kids get in.
