acts like battery missing

i have a utv rtv 900.I think its about a 2009. Theres no cranking or clicking, no head lights, no glow plug light when i turn the key. I put jumper cables to the battery with no effect or differance.

Clean the ground cable where it attached to the frame

I would check all the fuses, battery, battery cable connections on both ends, if their all ok, the most likely going to be the engine control module. I would take it to the dealer or have them make a service call to give it a scan with their shop scanner to pull codes. friend of mine has a Kabota diesel with turbo,late model. he parked it a few yrs ago,went to start it the next day and had same identical problem as you, he got a scan, it was the module. warning..their not cheap!

Just as others said, check your main ground cable. Follow the black cable from the battery to where it bolts onto the frame. Unbolt it, clean both the cable end and the frame with a wire brush until they're shiny, and bolt it back on tight. That simple fix solves these exact symptoms most of the time.
