Additional lights using existing connector on the wiring harness

I just install the Kubota rear worklight and am looking to add additional lights to the front. But I am looking to use the exiting connector on the wiring harness. The rear worklight is 10 amps. Has anyone installed non OEM lights using the existing connector on the wiring harness?

I am using non-OEM lights on RTV 900 series unit ... They are great lights and serve really well. They are Peterson Adjustable Tractor Lights. I have them on the front and the back of my unit. They are deep, beam is recesssed in rubber housing. Cost is only $14.49 each >>> purchased them at www.Agri-Supply.com

Use these lights on many pieces of equipment we have. Knowing how well they work and how durable they are, decided to install on the new RTV.

All you have to do is crimpa connector to the light wires itself, and install ****

Lights is 4-3/4' tall x 2-3/4" deep

Doug: Like TWO GUNS I am installing non-OEM lights on my 1100. I am using the installed wiring harness in the roof to power the lights and the switches in the cab. I ordered the switches from the dealer to put in the spaces provided in the cab. I just feel the Kubota lights were over priced for what they are. I am using KC lights. I have posted photos of what I am doing.

OK, I haven't had my fill of coffee this morning so the brain isn't fully awake yet...

What connector and what harness?

If the rear light is pulling 10 amps and you put more lights going out the front, how many amps are you pulling? Is there a relay or just a switch? If you pull more amps then what the wire, switch, fuse(s)... are rated for you may have some issues.

I am looking at 10 amp lights asthe Kubota provided relay supplied with the rear work light was installed. THe Kubota has the OEM windshield and the plastic top. Hence the lights will need to be small given they willbe installedunder the plastic top on the lip that hangs over the windshield.

I might need to go with ATV headlights.

I have a 1100 and it comes from Kubota with the wiring harness installed and a space in the cab for the switches.

I have had my second cup of coffee so now I'm hitting the "john"-something all you young folks have to look forward to,when you get "older". Notice I didn't say "mature".
