BX2230 - Pedal Sticking

Frequently when going to start my BX2230, I have to lift the go pedal slightly to allow it to come out of gear so I can start it.

I also notice sometimes I have to lift the pedal to the rear to stop it while moving forward or down a hill.

I had the 600 hour service done recently and mention this to the service advisor. I was told they checked and found no trouble.

I don't know if it needs greased or the return spring is worn out. But before I did in, I wanted to check with the experts.

Any advice appreciated.

Theres an adjustment for the spring. I’ll see if I can find my shop manual.

Found it in a 2360 manual. Probably similar. Says check and adjust every 100 hours.
