cantankerous FUEL cap

I have owned my rtv for a little over 2 years and must say the biggest complaint I have is the fuel cap!! how long is it going to take kubota to finally come up with a solution for this problem. I can't believe over 2 years and they still have not solved it. I think it may be time for an e-mail and phone blitz on corporate kubota as they obviously dont respond to their dealers on this issue.I looked at the tank on my cub cadet today shortly after wrestling with my rtv cap. they are very similar yet I can remove my cub's cap with hardly any effort and it does not slop fuel like the rtv does.those of us who have problem tanks and caps deserve better response than they are working on it.I am not fond of polluting the ground with diesel either. my leaks badly till it gets below 1/2 tank.the slopped fuel attracts dirt and with wood cutting is somewhat of a fire hazard. my rtv is the only thing I own that stains the barn floor. Have you gotten the replacment fuel cap? Thats been around for a long time. If that does not fix the problem there is a new tank available with different threading. </p>
