Coast Valve ???

Never heard of it.

Personally, I'd never put this on my RTV. It defeats one of the greatest things about the RTV which is the engine/hyd braking capability.

Also, is it just me or is that a bit pricy (at $140)?

I second the motion on that bczoom.... I love that braking feature on the RTV's >>>>> It's a life saver !!!!

They should of called that item a " cost valve " instead of a Coast Valve [*-)]

I will third that [:)]

One, of the many, reason I bought the RTV was because of the engine braking.

Hauling a load of firewood down a 15 to 20 degree slope through our woods for 600 yards this morning tells all of the benefits of the drive train system in the RTV...............In the past using my tractor with a utility box on the 3PH, skid, skid, skid, skid........PUCKERRRRRRRRRRR..........skid.......lower the bucket to stop before hitting a tree..........Totally out of control................using my utility lawn tractor with a trailer it's the same thing.....................NOW

It's just cruise down...............Ahhhhhhhh life is a joy.............Dennis

Me too, or not too[:$]. The brakes are good on this machine but the transmission, in my opinion, is almost better. I can haul a full load of oak of the river hill behind my home in M on the shifter and never even touch the brakes. I would never ruin a good thing, especially when that is one of the reasons I purchased the Kubota[:D]
