did I buy to soon?

Hello everybody: As you know I spent some time earlier this winter looking for my machine. I ended up buying the personal machine of the owner of my dealership.. with 50 hours on it. for just under 9 k.

I just stopped by the dealership today and they have another used one in. It is an 05 with 199 hours. The owner is an Iron work at Bath Iron Works. [ship builders] wow! Is it a nice looking machine. The bed is all lined in diamond plate. it has a full metal rack ontop of that.. even with the back above the tail gate closed in.. with hinges and latchs. It has plastic roof and he had made is own cab.. steel frame with diamond plate.. solid [and heavy] It has hmm I think they were shoot I am blanking on the name.. ITP mudlite radials [on stock wheels] There was a lot of lights on it. it had a plow. I assume and heavy duty springs..I didn't check to see if it had a dump body or now.. or what else it might have had.. they are asking 10k for it. [:'(]

Those "Shipbuilders" are crafty. Must be a neat looking rig. But, a RTV with 50 miles is as close to new as it gets. For 9k you made the right chioce, Hammerhead. Hey we might have started MUD season down here in Sunny Southern Maine. How you looking up your way?

Thanks guys.. I am happywith my purchase. It is getting set up specifically how I want it. Besides I would have missed out on the fun of "building" it. It does look nice though..

EZ chair we are a long way from spring here. I still have close to 3' of snow in the backyard.. and more in the woods. Snowshoeing monday night I hit a hole where I sunk in up to my waist..and I had not hit bottom.

They were first saying we were going to get a couple of inches of rain out of this next storm.. now it sounds like a bit of it will be more snow...
