one of the synchronizer springs poppped out of the hole and this allowed the keys to fall off the hub causing one of the shifter to get stuck in reverse. They fixed it 8 months ago by just unsticking it and charged me 1600 to do this and now it happened again and this time they actually looked in transmission and there are metal pieces and 2 of the 3 synchronizer keys in the magnet. They are admitting that they never addressed any of this on the first time I brought it in and want to charge me for the repair of 6k. I feel that they should do the repair for free since they could have found the poped out spring the first time and never actually fiixed it i. If they had the keys would not have come off the hub and broke gears. It was used for less than 20 hours after it being returned FIXED by them. Also said shifting forks had excessive wear due to pre selecting gears. What are your thoughts and advice? Tractor has less than 300 hours on it. It is a 2004 model but sat in a garage and hardly used before bought from a friend. We are very gentle on the tractor and only use to disc property fire breaks and brush hog.
