Fan belt replacement

Does anyone have a lead on replacing the Bando fan belt on the RTV 900? This brand is not holding up well for me. I don't think it tolerates debris dropping in from loading material in the bed (dumb design - discussed elsewhere). We loose little chunks out of the inside surface of the belt.

I noticed Messicks has thepart backordered which indicates to me that there's a higher than usualdemand for the belt - which indicates a maintenance issue to me.

We can't find a cross over belt from other manufacturers. Bando's web site doesn't even list their Bando SP Powerflex series.

How do you know we have it backordered? You should not be able to tell that without calling.

We have insane amounts of belts in stock. If you call and ask the parts guys they should be able to take the OEM belt and match it with somthing else that we may have here.

Thats not a back-order. That just means we don't have it right now and it takes 3-5 days for us to get one from Kubota using the low cost freight options. The website has no way of knowing if a part is back ordered.

If your burning though these, call the 866-260-3528 number and I am sure they can find you somthing else to try.

Gates makes an XL series replacement belt that seems a little tougher than the Bando belt. The cogging (notchedV "sections") is an alternating type which grabs better and is stronger. It's a Gatesor NAPA number 7355.
