Like many others, constantly checking fluid levels, and doing the proper maintance on the RTV. 15 months of ownership of the RTV, I can say I'm very pleased with the unit. About once every two weeks or so, check the filter in the high rise air filter. Alway clean lookin', but this morning, actually remove the filter and inspected it. Still clean as a whistle. Even took a air hose and blew inside, making any dust, etc, blow outward of the filter, to see just how much dust would come out. The final answer is, hardly none, very little dust came out of the filter, not enough to even talk about. I can say, with all the running in the fields, hunting in the muddy swamps all winter, as dusty and dry as it can be in the plowed fields & turn rowsin the summer months, I was really surprised. I recommend this accesssory to every RTV owner. The reason for me even pruchasing the ROPS high rise intake. After just a few hours of ownership of the machine, like always, checked the air filter, and was shocked to how much dust, mud, and debris has already got into the OEM filter. After seeing this, is when the high rise was purchased. The area between the cab and bed forms a boxed vortex of air which just sucks all matter into the OEM filter. I've now had this high rise for one year, and it's still just about as clean as day one. May I suggest, when using a high pressure air hose on any filter, be sure to hold it away some from the filter itself, for you dont want to blow " pin-holes " in a filter, for it will happen. Just back the jets away and you will be fine.

Does that mean I should quit using my backpack blower (at 200MPH, and 710+ CFM) to clean my air filter? My son would probably appreciate an answer of "yes" as he has one heck of a time holding the thing while I blow into it...
