How much H2O?

Using one of those large plastic totes to haul water to water my fruit trees. Filled it all the way up and saw the tires squat, let out quite a bit of water. Finally hauled 175 gallons and know that was too much.

I have hauled wood and know I have hauled over 1100 lbs. in it. What is the max amount of water you folks would haul in an RTV1100?

Pumping it from a pond and using a small Honda 4 cycle pump. Boy does it move water!

As always, thank you all for your time and wisdom.

That's 1460# or water. (175 x 8.34) Just divide load capacity by 8.34. That's the weight of one gallon of water. That will give you the recommended #of gallons to transport.

I too use a tote but try not to put in more than about 125 gallons.

There's no baffles in the totes so when driving on the hills, the water starts swaying from side to side and it feels like it's going to tip you over.

Your pic brings up a design issue. Wish the bed was a few inches farther ahead of the rear axle.

I've hauled many loads of dirt with the tailgate down. Hafta back up any sizeable incline. :)
