How to install electric fuel pump on a 2012 RTV 900

Anyone put an electric lift pump in a pre 2015 RTV 900..?
I replaced the engine in my 2012 RTV 900 not realizing the replacement engine was a post 2015 engine with no cam lobe to drive the engine driven lift pump..! Took me a spell to figure out my issue. Working on my work around now. Any tips appreciated. All model after 2015 have electric lift pumps

How hard can it be? You find a 12 volt pump, you hang it somewhere. Maybe some slightly longer fuel hoses depending on where you mount it. Find a 12 volt circuit that's hot with the key on. What's left? A power and a ground wire and the pump runs.

Find the line that runs from the old mechanical fuel pump to the tank. Place the inline pump between the tank and filter block use rubber fuel line to adapt the installation. Ground the pump at the installation point and run a hot wire to the key switch or into a keyed wire that can handle the extra amperage make sure you install an appropriate inline fuse on the new installation.

I installed one years ago on a 900.Balklamp low pressure 3-4 psi left old pump on the block pluged the lines.There was power under the bed on the passenger side.When you do this it will start better and run better also.When you turn on the pump the injection will fill up now and you can hear fuel returning to the tank.On a kubota the return will suck the fuel from the pump when shut off so now you can fill it up tap the key and it will start right up .

I did it. It was pretty easy and works great. Bought a pump from Friday parts and made a small plate for wear the fuel pump was. It starts and runs great now. Instant start when the starter is engaged. I picked up key-on power off the vacant plaug in the electrical panel, I think it was for a backup horn option.
