John Deere 1020 hydraulics

I bought a used 1020 that has sat outside for about 2 years with no shifter covers so I knew that hydraulic fluid should be checked and sure enough it’s full of water so I drained it and pulled the filter off and opened the filter screen and found it to be plugged. How do you clean the screen? Does it pull out? Didn’t come out with a hook easily so stopped before breaking something and asking.

Also the 3 pt. Lift arms have different size ball ends. Is this normal? They’re both John Deere arms I believe.

The last one I removed was a fight as well. It came out eventually, but was so screwed up I couldn't put it back. I just replaced it. Only about $30 online from many sources. The hitch balls SHOULD both be the same size, obviously. Who has implements with different size category pins?

Ok. On the screen I have to get it out because it’s completely plugged. And on the ball im thinking about making a bushing for it. Thanks
