Kioti-DK 4510 log splitter connection question

Have had my Kioti DK 4510 for a few years and recently purchased a log splitter. Soon enclountered a question regarding which of the left or right pressure/return ports to connect the hydraulic hoses to the splitter. The owners manual does not address this question. As indicated there are two sets of ports - the left side has two connection ports one pressure one return in a vertical alignment and the right set is identical to the left side connector ports. In the absence of any instructions I hesitate to connect the pressure and retrun hoses to the splitter.

Can anyone assist?

So you've had the tractor for "a few years" and have never used the remote valves or couplers? It SHOULD be a simple matter of following the lines from the couplers back to the valves. Each valve will have two work ports, both in line with the spool. You want to use the two couplers that both connect to the same valve spool. If you get it wrong, you won't really damage anything. It just won't work.
