Kolpin 2" Reciver RTV 900

Hey, just wondering if any one has one of the Kolpin 2" rear hitch set up? If so would you give me a dimmension of the c channel used I would like to make 1 or 2 as i cannot see paying 145.00 for it! Thanks in advance for your time
 
Didn't even know they made one but they sure are pricey!

Can you see where they planned to mount it? Can you derive the length from that?

BTW, why not stick with the 1"? I was standardized at 2" before getting this but found that buying the 1" draw-bars and a couple balls was much easier and cheaper then switching it over to 2" (especially since they're used in the front of the RTV as well).
 
It actually replaces the weak cover they have over the trans filter above the oem hitch, yes i can derive it from that old cover was just looking so i could get a drop peice of steel ordered, my RTV is about 2 hrs away right now! Thanks for the reply
 
OK, I get it now.

To fab something up, you'll probably want that filter cover in hand to get all the exact dimensions.
 
I picked one up, as well as their 3 point hitch system, and box blade set up. Have used it to drag my gravel drive and road, then by default used it to plow snow the last month or so and has worked well. MUCH stronger than the stock set up for sure ! Also allows me to move trailers around w standard 2" hitch of my truck, seems like a win / win for me.
