I'd google automotive paint and find a local professional supplier and stay away from consumer paint bombs. In my area there are several of these and they can recommend the right primer and paint for the application. They will then custom load spray bombs accordingly. Fiberglass/plastics require the correct primer and final coat that has a flex agent to prevent the paint from flaking when the item gets flexed. For the hardware you could start with MESSICKS the host of this forum.

Any paint and body men in the forum members???

Hi FD , There were some good folks that had paint shops there in Alex and Pineville when I lived there. One was Tuma on Hwy. 28 in Pineville. That was many years ago though.I'm sure things have changed like the old Lewis Roy dealership there in Marksville. But I also remember a good paint store that sold automotive paint there on Bolton Ave. I don't remember the name but wasn't far from the Petrus seed store. I would think that they could give you some pointers. Also try google search. A lot of good answers can be found there.Good Luck. Bordercollie

I'd agree with Kanook much on his statement >>>

There are many, high end, quality paint shops in the Pineville / Alexandria area ....Would lean that way for a true, quality answer for the best " finish " job on my doors >>>>

And yes,do the Messicks thing for the hardware >>>>
