I didn't realize they were in to so many things and that they kinda started Datsun/Nissan in a way.

They did what every other large manufacturer did... They made a ton of money selling stuff to the gov’t. Then got infused with more money when the Americans took over and rebuilt them to keep the communists from appearing attractive.
