*** Kubota Nerf Bars

TWO GUNS

Senior Member
[*-)] Been thinking, has anybody seen any place to get any Nerf Bars for the RTV..... I sure would like to install a set, but cannot find them anywhere.

I've just thrown a little drawing on my " dirty rtv " , of course, I don't want a pink set, black or crome would be fine. Or maybe, could paint it Kubota orange.... really doesn't matter. But, I think I would like to have a set on our unit....

Ya'll give me some ideas, I could use some help here ~~~~~~~~~ [:-*]

Can anyone point in the right direction, or give me some ideas ?????? ~~~ Thanks , Jamie

Can I ask why you would want them?

Aren't they going to be shin-busters? Will they lower you clearance in the middle of the RTV? Can/will you snag on trees or whatever on the sides of trails?

I'm going to look under the RTV in that area to see what's available to mount them to. Not knowing that answer, if you do hit something with them, what's the weak point and can get damaged. I'd hate to bend some part of the RTV...

This was just a thought >>>>

I think they would look great >>>>>>

NOPE *MAYBE * NOPE !!!

Yes bczoom, I am going to take a study underneath the machine and see what it would take...

If I see that it would " have to " be connected to a weak point. I would just delete this idea & start thinking of something else !!!!!

That would make you over 60" wide, Two Guns. You guessed it, we have a law in Maine. ATV's over 60" wide cannot go on class 2 ATV trails. So when you come to see me, follow the Appalachian trail up, turn left at Vermont, right at Canada and take the "Cat" ferry from Nova Scotia to Portland, Maine. I meet you at the dock. We willtravel on the class 3 trail back to my farm and you won't get a ticket. Just stay 100yds behind me if they are really "pink"!

TWO GUNS, keep it on the trailer and check out your local machine shop or fabricator. Those guys are amazing of what they can come up with, and what they can use as far as material.

That's a superior idea ... going to look into that after Jan. 31 >>>>

Thanks !!!
