Kubota RTV Grader

TWO GUNS

Senior Member
We folks, how you like ?

This is a contraption that was used today. And works PERFECT .
It's not hydraulic, manual blade angle throw. Left bank, right bank, smooth center >>>>>

Had this thing made last year, and finally got to put it to use.

I will see if some pics can be done today ..... we will try

Just helped my son get his first " place " for him and his soon to be bride. We pulled some
shrubbs and some small trees up with the RTV (winch) that wasn't wanted there. This place is full of
nice landscaped stuff, but to much is to much, when one has to cut & groom around. It's time to get 'em thinned out. It is a beautiful place. We are not touching the any fruit trees or shubs, they are doing much to good .....
The parish, a few weeks ago, done some " road work " in front of the place. Damn folks left all kinds of gravel and dirt in the ditches. So, with the new blade behind the RTV, just run down the ditches and pulled all the gravel, dirt , etc .... right back up where it was suppose to be. Also, used the blade to level the ground where the stumps and big shrubbs where pulled up and left holey and unlevel. Sure made things look professional. We had folks stopping by and looking and watching at what we were doing with the " new RTV grader blade contraption ".... Couldn't ask for better ....
This home place has very many producing trees on it. Blackberry, plum, lemon, pear, orange , apple , peach, pecans , muscatine , grapes , cumquats, just to start. One would not
believe what all this place has. The elderly gentleman that we got this from, said that just on one the lemon trees, it produced over 388 edible lemons by itself last year alone, and the rest were running close to that count. Been knowing these folks for years. He lost his wife over three years ago, he got down in real bad shape. So he is moving to a elderly assistance apartment close to town. Hunter and Amber is so pround of this place.
The Muscadine orchard is something special. It's has something like tunnels and overhangs that one can go gather the crops. Always thought this place was very special for all the produceing fruits and things that grow on it.
Folks all over has always talked about this place, and all enjoyed going by and the elderly people were always giving away the things that this place produced.
The whole property, is surrounded by a five foot cyclone / hurricane / chain link fence. So they can keep and dog on the place without it getting hit on the road .....

Sounds like Heaven

Two Guns, that is extremely nice sounding! I am so glad for them. Something dreams are made of for sure. Sounds like a little piece of heaven. Congratulations to them and you and Mrs. Two Guns too!! and almost forgot to mention - a very nice set up for the RTV! Bordercollie

You guys are creative for sure, looks like each of those units would work well if you didn't already have a tractor w/ 3 pt and scraper blade. :thumb:

Some of the trails ( small hunting traveling trails ) that are used in the winter, one can almost not get the RTV threw, so this is the next best thing. Small, Compact, does the job well.

Two Guns, I am quite impressed and a little envious of your RTV grader. I suspect there could be a market for these. I just ordered a "Power Grader" from DR Power. Will let you know how it works on my 2km driveway.

Congrats also to you and the missus on finding a nice place for your boy and his bride to be. Nicely done!

Your going to like the DR Power Grader, I've got one that I pull behind my RTV 500 and it works great. I'm a big fan of DR products, I've also got a commercial DR Trimmer that I've had for a couple years and it's also been awesome. I haven't had to fix anything big on a DR product yet. My trimmer needed a new plastic battery hold down for the electric start which they sent me at no charge and the only thing I've done to the DR grader is spread the pins on the remote box a little because they were lose...can't beat that.

Really nice engineering Jamie..........Knowing how YOU do things it not only looks great but is totally functional.........so glad for your children.......God is SO very good..........Dennis

Dennis,
