My tractor starter/solenoid started clicking last year. I had to jump across the wires on the solenoid to get it started a couple of times. Now it will not engage the starter.
Does anyone know if I have to pull the starter to get the solenoid off? It looks like there is NOT enough room to pull the starter without taking off the (I believe the hydraulic pump). There is only about 2 1/2 inches of space between the two.
