Massey 3625 problem.

I have a Massey Ferguson 3625 that is stuck in 4wd. It has a switch for the 4wd. the light on the dash cluster turns on & off with the switch but the tractor stays in 4wd. Any help is appreciated.

Try backing up while maintaining light pressure on the shifter, may even need to do some S turns,
could even try the same going forward.
Try to move the mechanical shifted 4wd while still moving, but not when pulling hard.
