New roof

I added a roof to a sa424 now it seems really noisy does this make since.

Full cab or just a roof that mounts to the ROPS?
Where does your exhaust pipe exit the tractor? Straight up out of the hood or low to the side or front?
Is it a rattling noise? If so, can you tell from which direction?
Does it happen at all RPM's?

Just the roof mounts to the rops.They say alot of noise comes up the rops from the hydo unit some fill the rops tube with expanding foam.I might try that.

Well so much for the canopy i could not take the noise.Maybe alright on a gear drive but not on a hydro.Even made the mower noisy.

No chance it came with the tractor.I took it off because no way to remove quickly for trailering tractor.I modified it so it came off easy but the noise was awful.

Harmonics, may have to keep trying different methods of insulating to cut down the vibrations and harmonics like insulating the bottom of the roof

For now it is off.I could not agree more.I built a speaker in so many words.For now i am buying a nice hat.
