Popped out RTV 1100 window, anyone know how to reinstall

I was hauling firewood an tried to squeeze the old girl between a large rock and a tree. I guess it was tighter than I thought. Got home and the window was hanging out. The glass is not broken. I had to take the window and black rubber gasket out to use the RTV for other chores and it looks like it is going to be a bugger to get back in. Any suggestions short of taking it to Kubota?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I assume you are talking about a door window.
1. have a helper
2 put the rubber back in the metal frame
3.use a ruler to tuck a piece of mason string in the groove where the glass goes. Start at the end of the bottom groove and work your way around till you get back where you started.
4.work the glass into the bottom groove in the rubber pulling the string as you go to open up the groove and get the lip to go onto the glass.
5 let the helper apply pressure to slide it into the back vertical rubber and just work your way around
6. Good luck and don't give up. It ain't that hard as I have done several on heavy equipment.
7 Any glass shop should be able to do it also.

BRING IT TO A PROFESSIONAL.....:myopinion:

Be worth every nickel to have somebody who knows WHAT they are doing.
Might not be much to it.
But we would hate to see you "purchase a glass"

.......... two guns

Thank you

Thank you Muleman and Two Guns. I had looked it up on the almighty internet and learned about the rope trick. It worked fairly well. It took three of us, weird shape to the window. It was not near as bad as I thought, but the rope trick was awesome. Thanks all, you guys rock.
