Rear Driveshafts

Just spotted these - perhaps everyone knows already. Should be longer lived and never need greasing.

id like to see more info on this.The rear needs to be slip shafts and im not sure if these are slip shafts.If they are solid you would end up with NO rear suspension.
 
I'm with Mark. These don't look to be for the rear for the older models of 900's. I don't know about these new designed ones though. collie
 
those are slip shafts but are like the ones on the new X models. if you look at the end closer to you in the photo you can see the part that allows the shaft to be longer and shorter. there are three rollers that travel inside that three walled cup that slip. i wonder? are these a retrofit for the older models with U joints?
