Rear view camera on RTV

Installed my review camera the other day. It is foggy today and the back window is fogged up. Heater is taking care of the front windshield and eventually take care of the rear and sides. But with the rear view camera I have a real good view of behind the rtv. My system can handle 2 cameras, so I mounted one down low by the rear hitch and then mounted the other one high up by my work light on the rear. Can switch views with monitor.

This is going to be a big help when pushing snow.

Have to see how they hold up with moisture.

But right now I am really pleased.

I agree with your assessment of the rear view camera. Plowed out my driveway and three neighbors today, probably 1500 running ft or so of drive and parking. Initially, I had to wipe the front window off inside to see but all of the windows cleared eventually. During the whole time I had a clear view behind me through the camera. Glad I installed mine a couple of years back.

Mounted here.

Could both of you guys tell me the brand of your cameras? I assume the camera and monitor came as a kit, but if not, please include the brand of both. Thanks. Bob

Here is what I used

Esky 8 LED Night Vision Car Front & Rear Backup Camera with Guideline, One Button Control
by Esky 19.99

Amarine-made 12v 20 Amp Waterproof Amber LED On/off Boat Marine SPST 3P Rocker Switch with Light - Orange LED $6.88

Pyle PLCM7700 Vehicle Car Van Jeep Rear View Backup Camera and Monitor Kit, 7'' Display, Waterproof Night Vision Camera, Distance Scale Lines, Parking/Reverse Assistance
by Pyle $64.00

All purchased from Amazon

I used the switch to connect to the green backup wire, I just turn the switch on and have a backup view all the time. The extra camera I ordered is used for the 2nd view. Camera monitor has a remote also. I believe the extra camera I bought is superior to the one with the system. You will need to download the manual from Pyle's site for wiring the system correctly.

I am very pleased so far, but the cameras have not been wet yet, so I will see.
