It has been on order for quite some time! Well WX hris 16 degrees and around 15 inches of snow on the ground. My 589 tires will not let me down in this stuff. Great off road tiresbut not good at all on the HWY. Have a Great night............Ron

Glad to hear that someone is getting a worklight! I have had front and rear worklights on order since I got my 1100 last September. I have thought about using other lights, but have been unable to find rockerswitches that will fit the approximately 1"x2" cutouts in the dash. I have also been waiting for a winch mount.

Switches can be found at most larger hardware stores... They also have 'em all over the net from many places ....

Your nerves are better than mine. No telling when them light kits are going to arrive >>>> Not only can you find a superior set of lamps , but you can have 'em now, and save much money for what Kubota is asking for there intermediate lights ...... There are some great quality lights out there on the market that will work as good or better than Kubota >>>>>

Ron, thanks for the post. It's Feb. now and have patiently waiting to contact my dealer about my lights for my 1100. Had them ordered and paid for since Nov. I was just going to post this question today to see if anyone has heard from their dealer yet regarding the lights. Getting 2 on the front, 2 on the rear. Think I might tell him I need the turn signal kit, and front flaps as well. It's like taking the O.B. to the wharedrobe.

From talking to dealers & some others, the Kubota accesorry distribution warehouse is in Texas. That being said, as you know, I am just next door to that state ( Louisiana ) >>> Thought I'd never get my OEM Kubota Bedliner, for the simple fact, my dealer ( several times with me standing there ) made phone calls to them. They would give him the B.S. story of backorder / still in progress / they can't make 'em fast enough ~~~~ THEN, we finally gotin touchof somebody that knew something, the reason they have not sent them is for the fact, that they only ship in quanity of " three" . Well hell, my dealers said, ship me three of the damn things. Had them in just four days. So it'snot your dealers fault, for I have heard many horror storys about that distribution center. And that goes formost accessories that they carry..... Just for that reason, many dealers " stock up " on accessories when they can, for theyknow ( but they keep quiet about it ) they way they are >>>>> Many dealers also, just borrow or buy from other dealers just because of this situation. Might want to find you some other tractor lights like some others. If nothing else, you'll have them installed in a few days, and at the same time, you will be saving bo-koodollars >>> for as you know, them OEM lights are expensive. I have a total of $60.00 in my FOUR heavy duty tractor lights on our RTV ~~~~~~ Lot of difference ***

Notlaw I've had my front work lights for a while now. When I originally ordered them I 3 sets of front lights. I was going to 3 on front and rear. I pulled the head liner out of my 1100 and checked the wire size and found the front to be about 16ga split in the up left hand front cornerto 2 18ga wires run to the outside 2 roof plates. The rear wire was 18ga and run to the left hand roof plate. Traced the wiring and found the main power was run to the rocker switch plugs and the smaller wires to the light locations through the floor in the main wiring harness. I thought the wire size was to small to run 3 lights and didn't want to butcher my factory harness so I installed the front 2 and returned the other 2 sets to the dealer. while I had the head liner out I extended the rear wire to th center location. I reordered the single rear light cause I wanted the rocker switch with the R label. I kept checking with the dealer and no light. Finally he found out the rear rocker switch was available seperately and ordered 2. He broke up 1 of the sets I returned and I had my rear work light. As far as I know he still has 1 front and rear set in stock. If someone really want's a set reply and I will check with him monday. I got my rear light late october.

That's the kind of deal you make BEFOREyou sign the check. That's a good bargining chip !!! But if you already have your RTV, think that's just for the price of the lights. If you weremakeing a deal with you dealer, tell him ( along with 99 other things ) that you want the lights, you will take the unit, with the discount on the lights AND he installs them at no cost !!!!! Most good dealers will work with you for a decent sale on most machinery !!~~~~
Hey, anyone know if the dealer price for the lights includes installation?
My experience on prices, they have included installs. If you ask, they will quote the you install price. My lights were negoiated in the deal with them installing once they arrive.

I recently stopped at a dealership on a trip, thought I'd stop to pick up front weights for my L4740, (I knew he had them, my dealer didn't and wanted to eat the shipping on 4 55#ers), but I had asked for prices on the turn signal kit for my 1100. He to gave me install price, and had to ask for the carry out price.

Good selling tatic for them, being a business owner myself, you are always trying to up sale the client.
