Thinking about led light bar on my 1100. Wondering if anyone has done it before and where the best mounting location would be for front mount.

What kind of light bar are you considering? (Do you have a pic or link?)

www.sidebysidesports.com has several different models at a wide variety of prices. some of my friends with rzrs have the extremely expensive ones on their rzrs for night riding. i was thinking of the sr series since the bota doesn't go 70mph , i think the smaller, still bright unit will light up the night enough for me. i was hoping someone had found something that would fit kubotas mounting spots on the cab or found a good spot to mount something like this. i would appreciate any suggestions.

It looks like it would fit nicely somewhere centered in the grill guard.

If you did not already order look at superbrightleds.com I have ordered several things from them with great satisfaction. They have multiple light bars like that one and might be cheaper......

LED's

I put the rigid d2 on the roof of my 1100. The wiring Is already there, so it is an easy install. Really love email. I also replaced the regular headlights with HID.

Did you mount on center cab bracket? Did you have to fabricate mount for your light?

The d2 is not a light bar. It is a 4inch square design. It came with its own bracket. I bolted them to the outside roof brackets. That's where the wiring is. I'll post a picture later.

Fire DEpt next doot just ordered and installed 2 similar ones for their rescue vehicle 1 for each side. They are brighter than any halogen light ive seena dn gives off a very bright light with very low current draw.Depending on your needs it could be places on top of the rops for forward lighting or on the rear. The ones they installed on the truck next door was mounted on a telescoping pole to rais or lower as deeded and able to swivel.May ways it can be used.If you want to as a perminant mount fron or back or if you have the steen hard roof you could look at the good magnetic bace mounts available to place it on the roof as needed and pointed anyplace you want.

After looking the machine over, I hope to be able to use the front center bracket on the cab and the rear center bracket. The light bar comes with a two point mounting bracket that I don't think will work, so I guess I will get to play with it some when it gets here. Hopefully I won't screw it up but part of the fun is making it work.

Well if worse comes to worse and you dont like them ill send you my adress and you can send them to me.Im no longer bashful and will accept any and all donations lol.I wish you the best of luck and im sure you will be very happy with them.Keep us informed on how it works out.We all like to know the secrets and goodies we all have and what works best and cost savings.I still have my dump kit sitting on the garage floor today. It should have been on friday but spent another 2 days in the hospital with serious pain issues. We think we have it narrowed down to Obomanomics or bad reactions to my Multiple Sclerosis Medications. After 13 years of the injections we think my body is saying it dosnt like the med any more and it giving me severe reactions so its back to the Neurilogist to try something different.Cant go on being sick and down in the hospital 2 days a week. The money I spend there can buy a ton of acessorys for the RTV lol

Those ribs look really good. I licked my monitor to get a taste but I don't think it's the same.
For those of you putting them above the cab, how's your visibility in snow and fog? I have a hard time with these old eyes. It looks like I've gone into warp drive at all of 10 MPH with all the snowflakes coming at me.

Ribs were really good.It has to be snowing really hard for it to bother me. It doesn't happen that often that I'm driving when it's snowing. Would rather have them up there for the rest of the year.
