Hey everyone, glad there is finally somewhere to get some info on these utiltiy vehicles.

Iuse one every day at work for just about everything you could imagine, and it would be a lot more enjoyable if I could throw a radio inour rtv 1100.

I have read that its all prewired and has speakers installed, and I am looking at a cheap cd deck to put in it. Is there an adapter I can buy togo from the stock plug on the rtv's wire harness to go into the cd deck? Or will I have to splice somewires to get it to work? Also,do i need a kit to install the deck in the dash securely?

Thanks for all of your help. Itired reading some radio threads on here but havent found exactly what im looking for. If theres another thread on it, just throw me the link and you candelete this one.

Thanks,

Bryantu,

There is an install dash kit that you can get from your dealer that makes the radio install a breeze, plus the 9 pin connector that Two Guns already told you about. When you get the dash kit, push it through the hole in the dash so that the retainer ring is on the outside. Then slide the radio into the dash kit and hook up the wires.........Then put the radio retainer ring over top of the radio to lock it in place........JOB DONE........
