RTV Cab Interior Lights

So last winter I was trying to figure out how to get some interior light in the cab so that you can see the shifter and the snow blower controls when doing snow removal at night without getting glare on windows. I ended up putting a purple bulb in the interior dome light with a strip of tape on the lens. It worked well enough, but I just got these. I mounted one on the windshield wiper motor cover right behind the rear view mirror. Works perfect! And it's not in your eyes at all.
You can adjust color and brightness. And either tap on and off or use the remote.

For the price of these things, I can't understand why Kubota can't put a light on the shifter and the K-Connect controller.
My Boss plow controller was lighted.

The stock dome light has a position for it to be turned on when the driver door is opened. I wired in a read switch on the door and a small circuit board that will shut the light off after x minutes (adjustable). Works great. It is easy to run the switch wire right to the dome light.
There is a fairly detailed discussion in the forum. Search for Dome Light.
