RTV Engine washing

Is it OK to wash my engine? When I had my Ford PSD, I would spray it with Simple Green, wait about 5 minutes and then rinse off. This was on a cold engine of course. Can I do the same thing on my 'Bota?
 
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

DO NOT GET YOUR ENGINE WET.

OK, just kidding.[;)] I use the pressure washer on mine and never had an issue.
I do avoid spraying directly into the fuse area and up the exhaust. Everything else is fair game.
As noted, do it when the engine is cold. I also let it drip-dry for awhile before starting it back up.
 
Same as zoom but I also blow the entire engine compartment
dry with a compressor and air nozzle.
