Hey folks, I am attempting to install one of those cheap light bars on the front and work lights on the rear of the X1100C .
I have read many post on the Kubota wire setup that only confused me. However Ive decided not to use the factory wire .
Was suprised to NOT see a power bar/strip inside that over head area.

Crappy image sorry.
I have fished the back wires thru to the over head console / switch area. Going to clip those wires to the rear work lights off the relay on the wire harness that comes with the led lights, And run those on a diferent switch . ( by them selves)

I guess my question's are.. Whats that relay for on this led wire harness??

And do I also need a relay for the rear work lights if I run those on a separate switch ?

And also is there enough power up yander for added accessories ?
should I run the leads all the way to the battery for the front light bar?

a relay is used to protect the switch from having to carry the current necessary to power the load. there should be one relay for every load. all of the necessary wires should pre wired into the cab. all you need to do is plug in the switch and plug in the light.

That was a most helpful video , Thank you !
I got them hooked up the way I wanted them . I did not use the factory wires . They seemed to either had to have the key on , or the light switch in dash on . So ran a wire from the battery all the way up to the head console . Oh what fun it was .. Now can use backup/ work lights in rear without key on . separate from the light bar in the front. Oh I must mention they are BRIGHT !!!! Holly cow ! Kinda makes the factory head lights invisible.

Now to mount that "Grossly Over Priced" tool box . lol
