RTV900XT Enclosures

I haven't posted on the site for a while but I still lurk from time to time. Great to see it's still active!

I'm considering getting an enclosure this winter. I did a search and saw some older posts but nothing too definite on what we really like or what we really DON'T like. I don't mind spending a few bucks for a good product that easy to get in and out of and that I can see through. We do get in and out of the RTV frequently so something with zipper or Velcro door openers probably won't work. It doesn't have to be super tight since I'm not out plowing snow or anything like that.

I have the Curtis FOPS roof, no windscreen, and the raised air cleaner option. I don't mind taking the FOPS off for the winter if needed.

What should I get?

Hey doggman, good to hear from you.

Call me old-school but if you get in-and-out a lot, I'd go with a windshield of some sort and some good cold-weather clothing.

You didn't mention any heater so at best, you want to keep the wind off. A windshield will do 90% of that. A good shell jacket and pants will take care of the rest.

+2 on BC and what Collie have to say...........Here in NW Georgia it is much like you there in the Ozarks. We don't suffer like the fellas up north of us do with day after day of snow and sub freezing weather..........

A fella came on here a couple of years ago who did the shrink wrap sheild every year and his report said it worked pretty good..........Must be if Collie is gonna get off her tail and finally get around to doing something/anything......HUG

For me, I also installed a plexi-glass rear window just inside of the mesh.....Easy: remove the bolts, mark the holes on the glass, drill, and then reinstall............$20 at the most from like Lowe's and an hour...............HELPS STOP THE DRAfTs...........God bless........Dennis

On my machine i just have the windshield.I also dress warm.Windshield is a 1000% improvement just by itself IMO.
Closed cabs and heaters are for wimps lol.
