Rust Worries X1100C ?

Lately mine has had to sit out and water collects in bed near the cab. It is lined.

What if I laid a piece of 2x4 under the front edge to give enough tilt to drain?

Also saw that the bottom of the doors rust out, do they need drain holes and oil in cavities.

Even though in Florida any thing that hold moisture rusts.

when i first got mine i used some fluidfilm with a flexible snorkel and treated inside the door bottoms and inside the main frame around the door and inside any other cavity i could find. even though i don't live in a corrosive environment it does sit outside all of the time.

If you tilt your bed, will it stay up on its own? Mine does, for weeks on end.
