Sold the 790

Well i sold my 790 i owned it for 25 years.Kinda like losing a old friend batteries and oil only. Needed a loader didnt want aftermarket.Hard to believe sold it for almost what i paid for it new.Good resale on those units.
I bought one new in 2000. Tough little tractor. Had the 70 FEL on it. Did a ton of work with it on my farm when I first bought it. About 2009, I sold it to get a new 5055D. I needed more HP and weight to continue with bigger projects. Only problem I had with it was the tie rod for the steering. Bent/broke several, because it was located in front of the steering axle instead of above or behind it. Kind of still wish I had it to get into tight places where I can't get the 5055D into.

I'll join the 770 band wagon! I purchased one about 9 years ago to maintain my 10 acres that we built our house on. It had been used primarily for mowing with a 60" belly finish mower and occasional brush hogging and had been well taken care of. It came with the belly mower, bush hog, rear blade and a 40 gallon 3 point boom sprayer (unused). I mowed with it, some bush hogging, rear blade use and spraying. Never had any issues, just did routine service.
I got a ZD25 zero turn for mowing and really needed a loader so I bought a Kubota L3301 with a loader. Decided to sell the 770. I kept the bush hog, rear blade and sprayer and solid the tractor for almost what I paid for the entire package, 8 years later!
I will admit, I had a little sellers remorse, I loved the 770.
