T547 Roof Repair

Has anyone here repaired a cracked cab roof with fiberglass instead of replacing the entire roof?

I have a TYM T574, and the damage is limited to the front left corner of the roof. By the time a new roof is shipped, I’m looking at roughly $1,500, so I’m exploring whether a fiberglass repair is a realistic alternative.
If you’ve done this, I’d like to know:
  • How the repair was done
  • Rough cost
  • How well it has held up over time
  • Whether it looks close to original
The photos I’ve attached are not of my tractor, but the circled area shows the section that broke, and the red line indicates a crack only. Given the extremely cold temperatures we’ve had here in Michigan, I’m wondering if that may have contributed.

Thanks in advance for any input or experiences.
