Hello all , will tinting the windows on my rtv hurt long term resale value ?
I am contemplating doing this but don't wanna diminish Value down the road, thanks
William

It can be removed if needed. Not sure of your uses. If used at night I'd caution against too dark.

Post the results when done. :)

Thanks for the reply, that's what I'm afraid of night time usage , but it really helps cooling the cab in summer

Its to his or her own opinion.Personally I hate tinted windows. Its a bear to see at night with them. For this type of machine I think it would hinder things especially if operating in tight places.Just my honest opinion

Slight sidetrack....... I live in a very rural area where everybody waves at everybody. If I'm in contact with a vehicle and I can't see inside, as in from the side, I don't wave. I don't even wave at my own Son in that situation. I hate "black" windows...... :)

When I purchased my Ram pickup used, the PO had tinted the drivers and passenger side windows to match the rear windows. Great during daylight to filter out the sun, much more comfortable in the direct sunlight. But at night you can't see the rear view mirrors or anything outside. I need to roll down the drivers side window to use the mirrors at night. If they didn't roll down I'd pull off the tint film but they work so well in the summer they stay.

From what I've heard the ac in theses things will run you out! I can say the heat does, this will be my first summer with the bota so I am looking forward to cold ac especially while messing with bees. Anyway not trying to hi jack your post but does anyone know where to get visors?

I have the rear, both sides and a brow on the front. I use it daily on farm and at night during calving season and love the tint. I prefer it over a clear cab. Just my .02

The tint has been on since the fall of 14 and easy to clean no scratches or tears.

We only wave at pick up trucks ;-)

Most vehicles I meet here are pickups. I'm so rural I know the driver by name 90% of the time. Depending on level of friendship it goes from an index finger wave to a full open hand wave with a smile. :)

My Super Duty had side window tint when I bought it and I removed it. Pretty simple to do. So if you tint your RTV windows and don't like it, just remove it.

I would stay away from the mylar type tint. It reflected everything. We bought a used truck with it in the back window and at night, all you could see was the reflection of the lighted dash board in it. It was so very bad that I backed into the bumper of a car that had parked behind me. Nothing was harmed but it coulda been.
I 'm like the other farm folks on here and wave at most on our country road - collie
